Reba Blackwell v. Market Max, LLC

Seth Pohlmann and Peter Wanek obtained a Motion for Summary Judgment (MSJ) in the 22nd JDC for the Parish of Washington in a slip-and-fall case where the plaintiff alleged that she slipped on gasoline while at the pump. The plaintiff alleged injuries to her head, back, hip, knee, and ankle, and underwent a lumbar fusion surgery during the course of the litigation. The court found that the plaintiff presented no evidence that Wanek Kirsch’s client, Market Max, LLC, had actual or constructive notice of the alleged spill. See link to MSJ.
