We Welcome Sam Peterson to Wanek Kirsch!

We welcome Sam Peterson, Associate, to Wanek Kirsch! Sam’s practice focuses on trucking and transportation cases, medical malpractice, and property and insurance coverage files. He served as a Wanek Kirsch summer associate in 2024 and joined the firm this year.

During law school at Tulane, Sam excelled academically, graduating cum laude and earning honors including the Robert B. Fisher Jr. Award in Maritime Law and the Cali award for top student in the course Cargo Law. He was a third-place finisher in the Class of 2025 Appellate Moot Court Competition and a merit scholarship recipient.

As senior managing editor of the Tulane Journal of Maritime Law, Sam planned production and supervised a publication staff of approximately fifty during his third year in law school. He also coached the John R. Brown and Hispanic National Bar Association Appellate Moot Court teams.
